Relax and dine at some of Alabama’s finest sea-food restaurants and stay at affordable hotels and condominiums in the area.

The parking is free and you will also have access to restrooms and outdoor showers. Florida point is located just east of the Perdido Pass Bridge.

Another great spot at Orange Beach is Cotton Bayou. This area is smaller than Florida Point but it features some of the same amenities such as free parking, restrooms and outdoor showers. One of the other state beach areas is Romar Beach. With easy access for the locals and visitors the beach has some free parking and limited amenities.

Gulf Shores

Gulf Shores State Park also has many beach areas available. The Pavilion area is located around 6 miles east of Highway 59 and provides plenty of room for the active family. There is a fee for parking and room for motor homes and larger vehicles.

The amenities at the Pavilion area include a snack bar, restrooms and private showers. Located approximately 3 miles west of Highway 59 you will find Lagoon Park. The amenities at Lagoon Park include showers and restrooms.

The Lake Shelby Recreation area at the Gulf Shores State Park is a 900 acre fresh water recreation area perfect for boating, skiing and swimming. There is a small fee for entry and the amenities include picnic tables and rental pavilions.

The public beach at Gulf shores is located at the end of Highway 59. Premium all day parking is available for a small fee and the pubic beach has picnic areas, showers and restrooms.
