Ross Bridge Golf Resort

For 18 holes of Golf in Birmingham visit the Ross Bridge Golf Resort. This course features over 8,000 yards of golf and was designed by Roger Rulewich. The course is managed by the SunBelt Golf Corporation and is located about four miles from the center of Birmingham

Birmingham Civil Rights Institute

The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute is an exhibition showing the journey from the days of segregation through the Civil Rights Movement. The exhibition covers key events in Birmingham and other locations. The museum is a testimony to human rights and it features the history of our nation’s struggle with equality.

The Birmingham Zoo

Get outside and play! The Birmingham Zoo features over 700 animals and receives almost 500,000 visitors each year. Birmingham Civil Rights District

The Civil Rights District is where you will find the Civil Rights Institute, the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church, the location of the devastating explosion that claimed the lives of four children during the Civil Rights movement and now stands as a quiet testimony to tolerance and forgiveness. The Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame is also found near the Civil Rights district
